Adrian Wojnarowski: ‘LeBron James Could Be Out For Three Weeks, Even A Month’

LeBron James has recently suffered an injury to his ankle during the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Atlanta Hawks. He is crucial to the Los Angeles Lakers’ title aspirations and could miss a fair amount of time. LeBron James got diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, an injury that could keep him out for a while.

Recently, Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that the Los Angeles Lakers are preparing that LeBron James could be out for three weeks, possibly even a month. It would make sense that the recovery would take a fairly long time. The Los Angeles will make sure that LeBron James is fully healthy for the playoffs, no matter how much time it takes. At this point, it’s not about regular-season accolades for James, it’s about rings.

The Los Angeles Lakers will need the remaining players on the roster to carry the load while LeBron James is out. Anthony Davis is out but will be back eventually. Until Davis comes back, players like Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell will need to step up offensively and bring some firepower so that the Lakers can win games. Playing without your two superstars is rough, especially when one of them is LeBron James. But championship-caliber teams find ways to adapt, and the Lakers must do the same.

Hopefully, LeBron James can get back on the court soon. Until he does, the Los Angeles Lakers will have to hold the fort and try to keep their position in the standings. However, as long as they make the playoffs, they should never be counted out: they have the best player in the world.
