Angry Julius Randle Was Held By Teammates After Controversial Nets-Knicks Ending

Julius Randle was visibly upset with the referees at the end of the Brooklyn Nets-New York Knicks game that saw the host team beat their city rivals. The game was really close, with both teams trying to separate from each other but the Nets had the last laugh after a very controversial ending.

When Randle attempted a 3-pointer, Kyrie Irving touched the ball and moved it when the former Los Angeles Lakers player was in the air. He tried to dribble again but the officials unfairly called travel, which obviously didn’t sit well with Julius.

James Harden scored two free throws to confirm the Nets victory and right after the match was over, a heated Randle was ready to look for the refs but his teammates held him back while he tried to find an explanation for whatever happened during that play.

NBA fans reacted to this sequence and even supported the Knicks, saying the referees made some questionable calls that could have had a different impact on the game.

The Knicks continue their good campaign in the 2020/21 NBA season. The young team played really well against the all-powerful Nets and it must have been frustrating knowing you had a big chance to win this game but the officiating couldn’t get the right calls.

Randle finished the night with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists, demonstrating his good moment and confirming he’s here to stay.
