Angry Julius Randle Was Held By Teammates After Controversial Nets-Knicks Ending
Julius Randle was visibly upset with the referees at the end of the Brooklyn Nets-New York Knicks game that saw the host team beat their city rivals. The game was really close, with both teams trying to separate from each other but the Nets had the last laugh after a very controversial ending.
When Randle attempted a 3-pointer, Kyrie Irving touched the ball and moved it when the former Los Angeles Lakers player was in the air. He tried to dribble again but the officials unfairly called travel, which obviously didn’t sit well with Julius.
James Harden scored two free throws to confirm the Nets victory and right after the match was over, a heated Randle was ready to look for the refs but his teammates held him back while he tried to find an explanation for whatever happened during that play.

Julius Randle, clearly upset by the travel call, has to be ushered off the court by teammates and team security. The Nets defeat the Knicks 117-112.

NBA fans reacted to this sequence and even supported the Knicks, saying the referees made some questionable calls that could have had a different impact on the game.
Total bs end of game. Calls all against the Knicks.. give them possession for once but no, like 5 jump balls and a humongous blown call at the end

Crazy how every set of eyes but the refs saw kyrie touched that

Harsh call on the travel. Great effort by the Knicks

3 refs and they can’t get calls right down the stretch. 3 blind mice

Kyrie literally hit the ball on the way up which should negate the travel. Stop being a homer

I don’t know what the refs saw but clearly here you can see what really happened !! pic.twitter.com/2nLRX4d96w

He had full possession of the ball after Kyrie touched it he could have still shot it, but didn’t feel confident in the shot and relied on the refs to call a jump ball

Brooklyn Refs need 5 HOF and three refs to win Julius Randle and Immanuel Quickley. Shameful. We run NY.

The Knicks continue their good campaign in the 2020/21 NBA season. The young team played really well against the all-powerful Nets and it must have been frustrating knowing you had a big chance to win this game but the officiating couldn’t get the right calls.
