Draymond Green: “I Really Wanna Make The Hall Of Fame. I’m Not Done Yet…”
Warriors star Draymond Green is obviously a huge part of the team, and a big reason for their success over the past few years.
And while Dray has never quite lived up to “Hall of Fame” worthy heights, he admitted to the media that his goal is to get there — and that he’s still got plenty left up his sleeve.
“I still gotta keep building, I’m not done yet, so I got some years left to try and do some more things and hopefully add on to that resume,” Draymond Green said, per Alex Didion of NBC Sports. “But I really wanna make the Hall of Fame, that’s for sure, obviously that’s one of the greatest honors in our sport, I mean any sport, to make the Hall of Fame.
“I don’t live every day like ‘man, I wonder if they looking at me today, I wonder if they feeling it today’ I just kinda go about my day. But definitely hope to do that one day.”
Unlike a lot of stars today, Draymond doesn’t really have flashiness. He isn’t on the highlights reel every night.
Instead, what he brings to the court is leadership, heart, and a multi-faceted effort game that has him playing all sorts of different roles: from playmaker to defender to motivator.
Already, he has built up quite a lavish resume, with 3 All-Star appearances, 3 NBA Championships, and 2 All-NBA team selections. He’s also the 2016-17 Defensive Player of the Year.
Let’s see what else he is able to do before the end of his career…
