EMUI 11 Changelog

This saga was started at HDC 2020 when Huawei unveiled the latest software update, EMUI 11. On the same day, the Chinese tech giant also began the beta testing for the users of Huawei P40 and Mate 30 users in China.

As we proceed forward, Huawei enrolled other important devices such as P30 and Mate 20 in the list of testing models. Last December the company concluded EMUI 11 beta testing in China for most of the users and rolled out stable EMUI 11.

In the same month, Huawei kick off the rollout of EMUI 11 for the Huawei P40 and Mate 30 flagship in the global market and published a timeline to distribute the latest EMUI version for different Huawei phones in different markets.

Everyone seems excited about the EMUI 11, why? because it comes with a new number of new features and improvements over its predecessor in terms of user experiences, security, and transparency.

Some of the notable features include the new smart always-on display, multi-window mode, smoother animation, subtle effects, new ringtones, better MeeTime calling, a better Notepad app, and more. Still, the changelog has a lot to mention, therefore, we’ve decided to put the complete EMUI 11 changelog on the board below.

Note: Some of these features are only available for some specific Huawei models.
