Kyle Kuzma’s Big Question: “What Would A Zo And Melo Backcourt Look Like?”
Kyle Kuzma has presented a big question regarding the Ball brothers and how they would fare on the same team. They are having very good seasons this year and the Los Angeles Lakers forward, just like plenty of fans around the league, has imagined how things would be for them if they join forces at some point in their careers.
LaVar Ball has always touted his sons as the best possible players for any team in the NBA. Right now two of them are part of the league, with Lonzo playing with the New Orleans Pelicans, showing very good things in NOLA after being criticized for his tenure in the Los Angeles Lakers.
LaMelo Ball is part of the Charlotte Hornets, leading the ROY race with extreme ease with his performances in North Carolina. Even Michael Jordan admitted he has succeeded the expectations and he hopes to have him with the team for several years.
Seeing how well these two are playing at this moment, Kuzma asked the big question, wondering on Twitter how they would do if they were part of the same backcourt.

NBA fans reacted to that, with some agreeing to Kuz’s idea and others tried to troll him using different tactics.

PJ and Miles are great at cutting and they can shoot the 3. This current hornets team with lonzo and melo and if they could add an actual big man like vucevic or someone that would be a prooooblem

Lowkey Kuz you should leave to Charlotte Brodie you’d have more opportunities to shine you got the shot creation and shooting to be a 6th man of the year winner consistently

If they Let Lonzo play PG like the hornets let Melo get the ball the Pelicans would be playoff contenders but the pelicans play for individual stats instead of team ball

Scary hours fr… because they know each other’s game so well they’d be able to feed off each other while dishing to teammates.. it would be AMAZING

Gonna be real confusing calling LaMelo "Melo" when future Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony is still playing & has been THE "Melo" for about two decades. Just type the extra two letters.

Alonzo mourning and carmelo anthony would not make a very good backcourt in today's NBA

Truth be told, it would be interesting to see these two going against the rest of the league. Their father said they would be part of the Lakers at some point and said the same thing about the Hornets, too, so he’s already selling the idea that at least Lonzo and LaMelo will play together in the league.
