LaMarcus Aldridge Would Shock The NBA World If He Joins The Nets Superteam
With LaMarcus Aldridge headed for a split from the Spurs, the destination of his next landing spot continues to be a talking point amongst the NBA community.
Already, several teams have entered the “sweepstakes” for his services, including the Blazers, Heat, Clippers, and Celtics. The Lakers have also been mentioned, but it’s unlikely they will make an offer worthy enough to close the deal.
With so much uncertainty, some fans have even begun thinking about the scariest scenario yet: the possibility of LaMarcus Aldridge joining the Brooklyn Nets
At this point, it’s nothing but mere speculation, but folks are still getting pretty worked up over it.
I swear if Aldridge goes to the nets I will actually lose my mind #nba #Aldridge #NBATwitter

The way this season has gone I’m assuming the nets get Drummond and Aldridge

After acquiring Blake Griffin earlier this month, the Nets have compiled a roster with star power unlike anything we’ve seen since the 2016 Warriors. As a trio, Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving have the best offensive talent ever.
Add LaMarcus Aldridge to the mix, and it’s easy to see why some people are panicking. Even at 35-years-old, Aldridge remains an excellent and reliable scorer, especially in the mid-range, a spot where he has specialized over his 14-year career.
The question is, what will the Nets have to give up to get him, and will they be willing to pay the price? With many teams apparently showing interest in the veteran, Brooklyn will have to come up with an offer that beats the competitors.
If they can pull it off, it would likely be the worst nightmare for fans around the globe.
