NBA Fans Speculate After P.J. Tucker Follows LeBron James On Instagram

Rockets veteran P.J. Tucker is headed for a split from Houston, amid a 15-game losing streak that has prompted a rebuilding era for the franchise.

And while nobody knows where Tucker might land next on his NBA journey, speculation heated up on Saturday after it was revealed that he followed Lakers superstar LeBron James on Instagram.

There is no follow-up evidence to suggest that Tucker is headed to L.A., but it certainly makes a lot of sense. Tucker can help the Lakers repeat as Champions, and his style as a gritty, 3-and-D player fits the mold of exactly the type of personnel the team is looking to add.

Or course, fans have already begun to connect the dots on where he is headed, and if a partnership with the Lakers is in the best interest of both parties.

As many fans have pointed out, Tucker isn’t the same player he used to be, and age has really compromised his effectiveness in today’s game.

Still, bringing him on might be worth the risk. He’s a classy veteran who always brings his all to the court. His ability to shoot from three and defend are valuable assets, and LeBron James is more than capable of bringing out his best.

Of course, only time will tell if L.A. is willing to give up its own pieces and if Tucker still has enough left in the tank to make a difference.
