“The Miami Heat Are Now My Favorite To Win The East,” Says Jalen Rose

Following their appearance in the NBA Finals, the Miami Heat have struggled mightily this season, and stand at just 22-23 through the first 45 games.

Still, following the acquisition of Victor Oladipo and (more than likely) LaMarcus Aldridge, ESPN analyst Jalen Rose predicts it will be them who represents the East in the 2021 NBA Finals.

With Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo healthy, the Heat have their core duo back in action and ready to lead the team. The acquisition of Oladipo, a solid two-way guard who is averaging over 20 points per game this seasons, is obviously a step up.

Despite his struggles in Houston, Dipo has always been a team player and a guy who is loved by his teammates. He should be an ideal fit in South Beach.

As for Aldridge, his arrival isn’t yet set in stone, but he could be the final piece that takes this team over the edge. A 14-year veteran, LaMarcus is still good for an easy mid-range bucket.

The question is, are Vic and LaMarcus enough for the Heat to overcome their adversaries? With teams like Brooklyn, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia all gunning for the crown, it’s going to be harder than ever to walk away victorious.
