Kendrick Perkins After Steve Kerr Said Only LeBron, Giannis, And Curry Can’t Be Traded: ‘Did Kevin Durant Retire?’

Kendrick Perkins might have beef with Kevin Durant but that hasn’t prevented him from defending his former teammate when he feels he’s being disrespected. It seems like Durant’s former head coach has forgotten about him but Perk was ready to remind people that KD is still one of the top names in the game.

Steve Kerr made the headlines recently when he claimed only three players in the NBA are untradable. The Golden State Warriors head coach has a lot of questions to answer for next season, especially regarding James Wiseman, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft. When asked about Wiseman’s trade availability, Kerr said that only LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Stephen Curry are untradable.

Well, Perk took notice of that and he mentioned his former teammate, often called the second-best player in the world behind the Los Angeles Lakers superstar.

Durant returned to action this season after missing the entire 2019/20 NBA season and he picked things right where he left them. KD has been playing some great basketball and even though injuries have been messing with him this campaign, too, the player is showing that he still got it.

As Perkins said, the Slim Reaper isn’t someone you want to trade. He’s a franchise-altering player and nobody in the world would think about trading him. KD is one of the 5 players in the world and Perkins hasn’t forgotten that. Kerr probably hasn’t, either, but there are more players that you can’t trade and naming them all would take a lot of time.
