Anthony Davis: "We Need To Poke LeBron James In The Eye A Lot More To Hit Shots Like That."

Besides talent and composure down the stretch, could it have been LeBron's sore eyeballs that helped carry the Lakers to victory on Wednesday night?

After the game, Anthony Davis, jokingly, suggested that poking LeBron in the eye might become their new strategy if it means he's able to hit some of the shots he made tonight.

"I think we need to poke LeBron in the eye a lot more to hit shots like that."

In the aftermath of the encounter that got LeBron banged up, he was somehow able to knock down a deep, contested three in the closing minute of the game -- a shot that basically secured the win.

Some call it luck, some call it skill, some call it a little of both. But, whatever the case, it was a huge make for L.A. that may have saved their season.

With so many injury struggles this year already, the team needs all the rest they can get. So, to be forced into playing another matchup against Memphis on Friday might have compromised their strength going forward.

If the Lakers go on to win the title this year, that shot by James will definitely be looked at as a major turning point, especially considering the state of his vision at the time.
