Facing elimination at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers, Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal shared some words about their situation, preaching hope and keeping optimism amid their third straight playoff loss.

For Beal, the word was "embrace."

“I’m a huge fan of the word embrace. Embrace everything…And it’s the same thing with this. Embrace where we are… every day we have a day to win. Everyday we have a chance to win.”

Westbrook, meanwhile, just wants his team to take it one game at a time.

Year one of the Westbrook/Beal duo has been rather inconsistent... at best. All season long, they were fighting from behind to recover from a poor start, finally making the play-in and beating Indiana to secure the 8th seed in the East.

Unfortunately, it seems their season is coming to an end after just 4 playoff games, as Russ and Beal just don't have enough fire-power to overcome the East's top team.

Going forward, the future does seem bright for the Wizards. With a few more pieces around the backcourt duo, they could make some real waves next season.

For now, though, they're just trying to do what they can to keep their season alive, one game at a time.
