The Utah Jazz have been the best and most consistent team all season long, and a large part of that success has been due to the play of Jordan Clarkson.
Amongst a sea of potential candidates, The Athletic's Shams Charania recently made it official: he is the Sixth Man of The Year.
The former Laker had a breakout season in 2021, where he posted a career-high 18.4 points per game on 42.5% shooting off the bench.
His spark is what propelled the franchise to their best regular-season record in years, and it seems he'll be a staple of the team for a while to come.
We saw flashes of his capability in Los Angeles, when he was putting up 15 points per game as a sophomore.
But with some growth and a team that plays to his strengths, he has developed into a reliable scorer and this season's Sixth Man of the Year.
As for what we can expect going forward, the future looks bright. The Jazz will no doubt continue to fight for their playoff lives over the next few months, and Clarkson will be key in helping them sustain a long run.
After that, we'll just have to see.
