In what may have been the game of the year, LeBron James put on a signature performance, dropping 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists to propel the Lakers to a 103-100 victory over Golden State.
Towards the end of the game, LeBron got caught in a particularly brutal play that sent him to the floor.
Clearly in pain, James lay on the hardwood for what felt like minutes before shooting free throws and eventually finishing the game, where he would go on to state how he saw "three rims" while shooting that last jumper.
Well, as it turns out, not everyone is buying the severity of LeBron's tumble. During the game, Blazers guard CJ McCollum called him out for exaggerating the whole thing.
LeBron definitely made a rather big show of the whole thing. After lying on the floor, getting drops in his eye on the sideline, and then claiming to see "three rims," it's no mystery why someone might accuse him of trying to oversell the severity of his condition.
Still, James deserves credit for pulling through and leading the Lakers to a win, especially against a team as hot as the Warriors.
Hopefully, he'll be ready to go for his first-round matchup against Phoenix.
