Dennis Schroder Says He And LeBron James Are The Only Lakers Who Are Not Vaccinated: "Nearly The Whole Team Is Vaccinated, Only LeBron And I Are Not, I Think."

As COVID-19 still rages around the globe, vaccinations are becoming an important part of keeping people safe and the virus under control.

And while most athletes have already chosen to take the vaccine, some have decided to go without -- for various reasons that they may, or may not, chose to reveal.

Surprisingly, LeBron James is one of those who have not been vaccinated, as his teammate Dennis Schroder recently let slip to the media.

“Nearly the whole team is vaccinated – only LeBron and I are not, I think. I can’t go into quarantine again, if that happens now, I‘ll miss a whole round in the playoffs. I can’t live with that,” Schroder said in an interview with a German website, via Lakers Daily.

Despite James choosing to keep his vaccination plans a secret, this bit of news does come as a bit of a surprise for someone who is usually on the liberal side of things. Fans in the comments were pretty surprised as well...

Schroder is set to miss time due to COVID health and safety protocols, something he (ironically) could have avoided had he taken the vaccine.

Obviously, everybody has the right to refuse the vaccine, and it's understandable why some would be cautious to welcome something like that into their bodies.

Still, it will be interesting to see how LeBron responds to all the noise, and if he offers up any explanation (not that he owes us one) as to why he hasn't yet got gotten the vax.
