HarmonyOS 2.0 vs EMUI 11: Boot speed comparison between Huawei MatePad Pro and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design [Video]
After 5 years of development of HarmonyOS, Huawei has finally started beta testing self-developed operating systems from December 2020 to avoid mistakes and issues before the official launch for general consumers.
At the moment, HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta testing is going on for the second batch of devices that includes 19 models from the flagship range.
However, the phase one devices of HarmonyOS 2.0 dev beta activity has started receiving the test build. To date, Huawei has released 3 betas version of the fully-owned OS that brings amazing changes in UI and provide a more realistic and smooth experience to users.
The HarmonyOS 2.0 beta tester from the first batch started sharing their experience and comparison video between HarmonyOS 2.0 and EMUI 11. For your information, the MatePad Pro was also part of phase one beta activity.
Recently, a video of HarmonyOS 2.0 vs EMUI 11 app startup fluency was surfacing on YouTube, in which the HarmonyOS performance seems slightly faster than EMUI 11 in all aspects.
Now, a fresh video of boot animation speed comparison between HarmonyOS 2.0 system and EMUI 11 caught online on @Atnarr Tech YouTube channel. This speed test was performed between the MatePad Pro tablet and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design.
In the testing video, MatePad Pro is equipped with HarmonyOS, while the Mate 40 RS running EMUI 11 software. After watching the full boot animation process, the results are in the favor of HarmonyOS.
It means that HarmonyOS installed MatePad Pro completed booting faster than Mate 40 RS Porsche Design smartphone on EMUI 11.
