Huawei P50 to delay until July due to improvements, Huawei seems to solve component supply problem and doing same for high-end tablets
Alongside other smart products, Huawei is soon going to launch the much-anticipated smartphone flagship in the P-series, Huawei P50. Huawei fans are breathlessly waiting to see the official revealing because leaks, rumors and renders increase the excitement.
According to the previous info, the Huawei P50 will reportedly schedule to unveil in June and the reason behind the delay is that the company wants to equip it with a fully developed HarmonyOS ecosystem as well as new technologies alongside solving the supply problem.
Today, a Weibo tipster, Factory Fans discloses that it’s just less than a month and Huawei has changed one more plan for the upcoming P50 series, which makes it impossible to reveal this flagship in the month of June.
According to the tipster, the Huawei P50 has basically gone through several rounds of plan changes in the launch schedule to date, and ultimately the month of July will seem to be final for official revealing.
On the other hand, the launch of MatePad 2 will be postponed to July and the possibility of MatePad Pro 2 suspended could stay in June but there’s no confirmation on that either. However, the tablet delay doesn’t affect the company because it doesn’t have any competitive product from any rival companies due to the new specification that it’ll come with.
Additionally, the Chinese tech giant found an alternative solution to the previous problems in acquiring required components and established new partners in the supply chain. However, there are currently stocking issues for the new phone.
Besides this, the same preparations are being made for the MatePad tablets, and now they likely to arrive with the Huawei P50 series.
One thing worth mentioning, Huawei always equipped flagships with Lecia cameras. But at the moment, the company seems to still continue its partnership with Leica at least until the launch of Huawei p50 but there’s no confirmation of what happens afterward.
Regarding this, another digital blogger also reveals that the Huawei P50 series and the next generation high-end tablet MatePad 2 will be suspended till July.

Huawei MatePad 2:
According to previous leaks, Huawei MatePad 2 will be a more advanced and costly tablet over the MatePad Pro 2 model, which is likely to arrive in the month of July.
Huawei P50 series:
