Huawei’s future smart glasses may support shooting, telescopic and rotating components

With the advancement of technology, mobiles and watches already be smart, and it’s time for smart glasses. However, Huawei already has smart glasses, Gentle Monster Eyewear first and second generation.

To make a breakthrough, on May 11, Huawei has successfully passed the patent of smart glasses and its control system with publication CN213182196U. As per the information, it was applied on March 31, 2021, in China.

According to the patent description, the smart glasses include a main body of glasses, a photographing component, a telescopic component, and a rotating component.

The telescopic component drives the photographing component to extend or retract into the containing cavity containment cavity. When the camera assembly needs to be used for shooting or tracking, the telescopic assembly is used to drive the camera assembly out of the containment cavity.

When the camera assembly is not needed or when it is not possible to shoot, it can be driven by the telescoping assembly. The camera assembly is retracted into the housing cavity, so users can wear smart glasses in any scene.

When the camera assembly is retracted into the housing cavity, it does not take up additional space, and the appearance of the smart glasses can be more concise and beautiful than the rotating component drives.

The photographing component rotates when the photographing component exits the containing cavity, so as to change the photographing direction of the photographing component, thereby increasing the photographing angle of view of the photographing component.
