Kendrick Perkins Says The Knicks Are A Threat To "Any Team In The Eastern Conference."

With the New York Knicks amid an inspiring season, questions remain about what they'll be able to do come playoff time.

With Julius Randle. RJ Barrett, and Derrick Rose, the team has a solid core that has brought great successes this season.

And while many deny the idea that they'll make any significant noise in the postseason, ESPN's Kendrick Perkins insisted on on First Take that they are a threat to anyone in the East, including the Brooklyn Nets.

"They don't have a lot of household names, but they ar eplaying some fantastic basketball. Not only should th eNets be threatened, but every team in the Eastern Conference should be threatened by the New York Knicks."

Perk goes on to point out how the Knicks have it all -- from a star and MVP candidate to a strong supporting cast, and even a talented, defensive=minded head coach.

And while New York has always been somewhat of a laughing stock in the past, this season could really be the start of something new for them.

Obviously, the only way for sure to tell whether this team is pretenders or contenders is to see them in action come May, June, and July.

But, for now, it seems we should give them the benefit of the doubt.
