Kevin Durant After Loss To Bucks: “Every Day You Wake Up, It Should Be About Your Craft."
Kevin Durant has made himself rather notorious for his philosophy both on and off the court.
As a guy who isn't afraid to say and do what he wants, it can often lead to some interesting and telling moments for the NBA community.
Following his team's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, in which he dropped 42 points and 10 rebounds, Durant spoke a bit about where his head is at:
“Every day you wake up, it should be about your craft. I think that’s how everybody approaches this thing. We try to take it a day at a time, a possession at a time. We can’t control what’s going to happen at the end of the season or what other teams are going to do. I think we’ve just got to take advantage of each one and that’s what we’re doing.”
Long story short, KD isn't really sweating Brooklyn's 2-game losing streak.
“Yeah we definitely miss James and we want our whole team out there. But, you know we chalk this one, get better tomorrow and worry about the next game. And we play these guys again, which is the good part, so we can see how we are next game and gauge how we are against this team again.”
Obviously, this Nets team is talented enough to avoid any serious doubt about their success. They are destined to get far into the playoffs this year -- the only question is, how far will they go?
With Durant, Kyrie, and Harden seemingly on the same page, the sky is the limit. But in this league, nothing is a guarantee.
