James Wiseman was drafted by the Golden State Warriors as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft. Wiseman has tremendous athleticism and upside, with uncanny speed and ballhandling for a center. Most people view Wiseman as a core piece for the era after Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson.

However, it seems as though the Golden State Warriors could move Wiseman if it is for the right move. Recently, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype has shared that while the Golden State Warriors aren't actively looking to move him, they could listen to offers if an All-Star level player appears to be available for trade.

A league source told HoopsHype that while Golden State is not looking to trade James Wiseman, they would listen if an All-Star player was on the table and one becomes available this summer in potential trade talks.

While James Wiseman is clearly a talented player, his fit with the rest of the Golden State Warriors question has been brought up after his inexperience showed during this season. However, there is no doubt about his potential. While it would make sense for the Golden State Warriors to trade him in a win-now trade for an All-Star, he is definitely a key part of their future if a trade doesn't materialize.
