Referees are often the figures that draw ire from both fans and players. We often see stars talk to the referees about their calls on the court, and then we also see fans attack refs online on social media. Needless to say, officiating NBA games brings its own set of headaches.

Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic has recently joked about the referees and suggested that he doesn't know why anyone would want to become a referee. It definitely seems like a tough job, and officiating can sometimes change the outcome of games.

The game officials at NBA games are experienced, with a lot of years of experience. While there may be questionable calls at times, a lot of the time, they are simply trying to do their job. Everyone complains to officials, including Nikola Jokic himself, and it looks as if he recognizes that.

Nikola Jokic has even up the series against the Portland Trail Blazers, but he will now face Portland on their home court. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are a tough matchup for Denver's guards, but Denver has the presumptive MVP. Nikola Jokic looks like he will continue his stellar play from the regular season, and potentially lead the Nuggets to victory.
