The Phoenix Suns have managed to beat the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center, and even up the series at 2-2. While the Los Angeles Lakers may still win this series because of LeBron James, there is no question that this spirited Suns team has shown what they're capable of. They're not going to be eliminated in a disgraceful fashion, and they're ready to take the fight to the Lakers.

Despite Chris Paul's injury, he performed fairly well today, tallying 18 points and 9 assists, almost notching a double-double. What is even more impressive, is that Paul managed to do that without any turnovers.

The fans will hope for more performances like that from Paul. Throughout the season the attention has been focused on the two All-Stars on the team in Chris Paul and Devin Booker. However, the other players on the team deserve credit for their performances as well, especially two-way center Deandre Ayton.

The Phoenix Suns have been an exciting young team for the season, and the addition of Chris Paul has put them over the edge. They have silenced many doubters during the playoffs, especially considering barely anybody gave them a chance against the LeBron James-led Lakers.
