Russell Westbrook is probably one of the most controversial players in the game. Whether it's his history of clashing with stars or his "loud" personality, the guy is always generating criticism and doubt.

After the Wizard's play-in game against Boston on Tuesday, Russ had a pretty subpar game, and team coach Scott Brooks revealed that people were asking him about what was "wrong" with Westbrook.

"I've had so many texts like, 'What's wrong with Russell?' I was like, what's wrong with him? He's had two months of playing MVP-like numbers, that's what's wrong with him. He's not super-human."

He looked lethargic on Tuesday, but the 1x MVP responded in a huge way with his season on the line.

He came out for the game against Indiana in full force, dropping 18 points, 15 assists, and 8 rebounds per game on 46.2% shooting.

Once again, he proved that he can be relied upon when his team needs him most.

The question is, how far can he take them? With a first-round matchup against Philadelphia, it will take a superhuman effort from Russ and Bradley Beal to advance the team to the second round.

But when you've got two stars like that on your squad, anything is possible.
