Draymond Green Tells A Hilarious Story Of Drunk Klay Thompson: "In Miami, He Ran Into A Wall And Busted His Eye."

We can all agree that Klay Thompson is one of the most likable players in the league. He's always chilling, he doesn't get into anyone's face, and he just does his thing. 

As a matter of fact, I think that I speak for most people when I say that, of all the players in the league, he'd be one of the first guys you'd choose to have a drink with or party every now and then.

But, beware, as he's not exactly articulate when he's had a drink or two - well, who is? - at least according to Draymond Green and his favorite story about Klay:

"In a hotel in Miami, he ran into a wall and busted his eye open with stitches," Green said during an AMA session with Bleacher Report. "He tried to lie to us and get his friend to lie and say he got into a fight at the club. When you're leaving the club in Miami, you're not always sober and he tried to tell us he got into a fight."

Well, that seems like classic Klay right there. Not to be rude or offensive, but he just doesn't strike as the kind of guy who would get into a fight in a club. He's just too chill and cool for that.

That's most likely why his teammates didn't believe that story, and maybe why he's always wearing shades when he goes out.

Hopefully, Thompson will go back to full strength next season and the Warriors will have plenty of reasons to go have a drink or two. This time, we hope he gets home safe, though.
