Ben Simmons had a great regular season where he averaged 14.3 PPG, 7.2 RPG, and 6.9 APG while playing spectacular defense. He was an All-Star and a top 3 DPOY candidate. However, his playoffs series against the Atlanta Hawks wasn't the best, and many have since commented on the lack of development in his offensive game.

Despite the fact that Ben Simmons had a bad playoff run, he is still an extremely capable NBA player who is a 3-time All-Star. If he were on the trade market, many franchises would attempt a trade. Recently, Stephen A. Smith has stated that the Golden State Warriors could end up trading for Ben Simmons.

And in the end, Philadelphia is trying to claim that Philadelphia is not interested in moving Ben Simmons.

Let me tell y'all something, that's a damn lie. That's a damn lie. It's just that they're not interested in getting trash back for him. You make a solid, bonafide offer, the Philadelphia 76ers are going to consider it. I believe the Golden State Warriors are going to make a push for Ben Simmons, so keep your ears tuned, stay tuned. It's possible Ben Simmons could end up in Golden State with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

It would be interesting if the Philadelphia 76ers were to send Ben Simmons to Golden State. There is no concrete offer yet, but it seems likely that in the scenario Stephen A. Smith presented, Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins would have to be shipped out to make things work moneywise. Ben Simmons would fit the Golden State Warriors system, and we'll see if they'll end up trading for him this offseason.
