The Golden State Warriors are up for a big offseason after failing to make the NBA playoffs in the 2020/21 season. The Dubs made it to the play-in tournament, but two losses prevented them from returning to the postseason.

Stephen Curry was helpless for most of the season, and fans weren't happy with that. The Dubs need to add more firepower to face a campaign where Klay Thompson will return. They have an interesting young player in James Wiseman and the No. 7 overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft, so the future looks good for them.

However, recent rumors suggest they will add established stars to the roster using their young players. According to John Hollinger of The Athletic, the Warriors could try to land Pascal Siakam from the Raptors in exchange for Wiseman and their No. 7 pick.

Golden State assured itself of an additional first-round pick when Minnesota failed to land in the top three on lottery night. The Warriors now have the seventh and 14th picks plus last year’s second overall pick, James Wiseman, and there is a widespread expectation that the Warriors will use No. 7 and Wiseman, in particular, to seek more immediate upgrades to the roster. One name to watch: Pascal Siakam.

After struggling in the past two seasons with the Toronto Raptors, Pascal Siakam could need a change of air. The Warriors' front office will try to land big names, and the Cameroonian could be an excellent option for them.

Time will tell if they can make this happen, but Siakam, alongside Curry, Thompson, Wiggins, and Green, sounds like a very competitive starting lineup.
