New games optimizations released for Huawei P30 series (HarmonyOS 2 beta)

On June 29, Huawei initiated a new software patch for the Huawei P30 series with HarmonyOS 2.0 beta. This software patch brings new optimizations for sound effects for Bluetooth earphones for different gaming scenarios.

A few days ago, Huawei P30 and P30 Pro device owners on HarmonyOS 2.0 beta received a software patch that fixed issues on fingerprint authentication and automatic screen brightness.

According to the changelog, this latest patch for the P30 with HarmonyOS 2 beta comes with version 2.0.0.127 (C00E125R2P4patch03) and a small package size that weighs in MB.

From these rollouts, we can clearly see that Huawei continues to improve the user experience for the consumers as it looking to prepare and move towards the public beta phase.

On June 10, 2021, Huawei began the first recruitment of HarmonyOS for the Huawei P30 devices. In the following week, the selected models started receiving HarmonyOS 2.0 beta builds via OTA update.

The changelog reveals that the HarmonyOS 2.0 beta for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro devices brings a brand new user interface, new features powered by distributed capabilities, and a seamless cross-device experience across different device platforms.

Global users:

Meanwhile, Huawei has not confirmed any release date of HarmonyOS 2.0 for the global users but we’ll have to wait for an official roadmap.
