When the Atlanta Hawks entered the playoffs as the 5th seed, nobody thought they'd make it past the first round. The young and inexperienced roster had its hands full trying to stay competitive in a bracket that included a tough and rowdy Knicks team, a deep and hungry Sixers squad, and a 2x MVP in Milwaukee.

But with the first two rounds in the books, the Hawks are just one of four teams remaining and are proving to the world that they belong right up there with the best.

After witnessing first-hand what Atlanta can do, Stephen A. Smith shared the following message about the possibility that they win the title:

"What I'm seeing from Atlanta, them hitting shots, I'm almost getting to a point where it wouldn't shock me if the Atlanta Hawks win the championship. Cause they're making shots.

I'm not picking them to win the series yet, but the Atlanta HAwks could win the Championship."

As, arguably, the least talented team remaining, the Hawks are going to be underdogs until it's all said and done.

But people are finally realizing what this team is capable of. It's not some fluke or some stroke of luck: the Hawks are have arrived, and if their competitors aren't careful, they could be the ones raising that Larry O'Brien trophy in a few weeks.
