The Los Angeles Clippers were eliminated by the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. While that is a disappointing end for the Clippers, they still had an amazing season given the circumstances. The Clippers made their first Conference Finals in franchise history, and they did so despite Kawhi Leonard's injury. There is a lot to be proud of for the franchise and the fans.

After Leonard's injury, the rest of the Los Angeles Clippers' roster stepped up offensively. Reggie Jackson and Paul George took the brunt of the offensive load, while others like Marcus Morris and Terance Mann also contributed. There's no doubt that they outperformed their expectations after Leonard's injury. Clippers coach Ty Lue has congratulated the team and suggested that what the team did was still special.

There is no question that the Clippers' season is something the team can build on, and with Kawhi Leonard, they most likely are contenders. While they didn't win a title, getting to the first Conference Finals in franchise history is far from a bad ending to a memorable playoff run.
