Several years ago, Devin Booker had the third-highest scoring game in NBA history, torching the Boston Celtics for 70 points. That day, Booker put the world on notice and gave us a glimpse of what was to come.

Then again, the Phoenix Suns were far from the team they are nowadays, so those 70 points came on a loss, as most of the great performances Booker had before this season.

That's why Jae Crowder took to Instagram to make fun of Booker and the Suns for celebrating his historical performance, telling him "Never seen so many guys happy after an L".

Booker, faithful to his trash-talking nature, simply replied with a 'You can't guard me'. And that was it.

Fast-forward to today and not only Crowder and Booker are teammates and getting along just fine but also, they'll be playing in the NBA Finals side by side.

Jae Crowder has played a huge role in the Suns' success as a bit of an X-Factor, locking up opposing wings and knocking down huge three-pointers.

Booker, on the other hand, has been the face of the franchise for some years now and continues to prove that he's one of the deadliest, most efficient scorers in the league from all three levels.

We can be sure that this is all water under the bridge and they may have laughed about this over and over. And, if they still don't get along- which doesn't seem to be the case - they'll still go to war together to try and fulfill the ultimate goal of winning an NBA Championship.
