Fans Destroy The NBA For "Trash" 75th Anniversary Logo

The NBA's logo has been largely immune to change over the past 75 years. The traditional, Jerry West-inspired piece has been a staple of the league since its inception.

But in honor of their 75th anniversary, which will be next season, the NBA decided to incorporate a special logo, as reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

It isn't much of a change from the traditional logo, but fans were quick to tear it apart...

The NBA has heard all the calls for change in regards to the logo and branding in general, but they have stood firm in keeping their look.

Following the death of Kobe Bryant, many think it should be his silhouette on the logo. He was, after all, the face of basketball for an entire era of the sport.

Nonetheless, the league is obviously content with their traditional design, and this 75th-anniversary look is probably the most it's ever going to change.

For the fans, they have made their feelings known. Despite their best efforts, they're just going to have to concede that the league is not going to completely re-design its logo anytime soon.

Next season, when that 75th logo special officially comes into action, we can expect fans to keep on roasting it.
