All players, even the best and most impactful, have experienced that 'Welcome to the NBA' moment from their rookie season.

Either because they're starstruck in the presence of their idols or because a star completely destroys them on the court, even the best players in NBA history have gone through that.

Recently, Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman told his story, letting everybody know just how Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated him and he gave him a lesson afterward:

"Man, it was the second game against the BucksI was comin' down the court on defense and then Giannis [Antetokounmpo] just started comin' full speed at me. I didn't know what to do. I fouled him, but he told me to stay on the court. He said, 'Make sure you stay on the floor big fella.," Wiseman said.

"Really, Giannis comin' full speed at me and scoring, that was like one of the most craziest things ever," Wiseman added.

That's quite a wholesome story, for sure. Giannis is a pretty laid-back guy and it's cool to see him try and mentor other young players with superstar potential.

It's worth noting that James Wiseman is a huge specimen and was used to doing the bullying in the paint, not being bullied by other players, so this must've been a first for him.

Wiseman has sky-high potential but struggled with health and consistency during his rookie season. Hopefully, he'll have more chances to showcase his skills in his sophomore year.

As for Giannis, well, there's no shame in getting completely bodied by him. He's one of the best athletes and most physical specimens in the NBA, so you better hit the Gym, if you want to have the last laugh against him next season, rook.
