Kevin Durant And Kyrie Irving Secretly Trained Together Against NBA Rules

There's no doubt that the Brooklyn Nets were one of the biggest favorites to win it all this season and for very good reasons. They had one of the most impressive duos in the league in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant even before adding James Harden into the mix.

That's why the two stars - who also happen to be very close friends - didn't want to waste any time to get ready ahead of this campaign, and, according to Matt Sullivan; they even broke the league's Covid-19 protocols with a 'secret camp':

“They were running, like, a secret camp at Kobe’s old gym… James Harden ended up in that gym too while they formed this team on Election Day. All these strict protocols and masks and gloves while you’re not touching the basketball. They were running like a secret camp the whole time, trying to get KD and Kyrie in shape," Sullivan said.

Whether that's true or not is not for us to decide and we're sure that the league will dig deeper into this matter. Should they find out that they break the protocols, the team could face some serious discipline, as well as the players.

Clearly, whatever they did to get ready before the season worked out pretty well, as they were an outstanding fit next to each other.

Sadly, an injury-riddled season ended the only way they could for them, with Kyrie out and Harden struggling with his health as well.

Hopefully, the Nets will get back on track and at full strength, as they're just too talented and too good for us not to want them to fulfill their maximum potential next season.
