With the start of the 2021 Olympic games closing in, Team USA doesn't have much time left to get themselves together.

After two early exhibition losses, anxiety started to creep in that Team USA could suffer a major, borderline embarrassing upset.

But with the news that Bradley Beal has been disqualified from competing, the team now has a new problem to focus on: finding his replacement.

According to Sports Illustrated's Grant Afseth, Miami's young sharpshooter Duncan Robinson could be their pick.

Miami Heat sharpshooter Duncan Robinson is among the replacement options that USA Basketball is considering, per a source.

Obviously, Robinson is not nearly on the same level as Beal. At this point, it's going to be near impossible for them to find a Beal-level replacement.

But as a wing shooter and scorer, Robinson would make an excellent addition to the roster. His 13.1 points per game in 2021 helped the Heat keep their head above the water amid season-changing injuries.

Under Gregg Popovich, and alongside guys like Kevin Durant and Damian Lillard, Duncan could thrive off open looks, and help Tema USA establish a lethal and well-balanced offense.

Obviously, it will take some time -- but hope remains that Team USA will bring home the Gold.
