The Golden State Warriors were a team that was desperately in need of scoring this season. While some of their scoring woes will be alleviated with the return of Klay Thompson, it is clear that more offense wouldn't hurt.

A recent report had the Golden State Warriors targeting Collin Sexton of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Evan Dammarell reported that the Warriors were willing to trade for Sexton, but they weren't willing to give up Andrew Wiggins or James Wiseman in the trade, and it seems as though the No. 7 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft was off the table as well.

While Collin Sexton is an elite scorer, it seems as though the Golden State Warriors has some concerns about how well he fits with the rest of the roster, and what sort of contract he may command. Those are valid concerns, especially for a team that already has four big contracts on the roster. Collin Sexton has been in a lot of trade rumors lately, and it seems as though the Golden State Warriors are the latest team to inquire about his availability.
