The San Antonio Spurs are a team that hasn't made it past the first round in the last four years. Despite having an elite organizational structure and an all-time coach in Gregg Popovich, they simply haven't had the talent to compete against the other giants in the Western Conference.

It seems as though the Spurs could elect to make some roster changes this summer. A recent article by Zach Harper revealed described the status of Dejounte Murray and Derrick White as "gettable" though it is unlikely that the San Antonio Spurs would trade them for the sake of doing so.

The Spurs have to figure out where they want to be as a franchise and what their plan is moving forward. They’re kind of stuck in the middle right now. Murray and Derrick White could both be gettable, according to league sources.

Dejounte Murray is a great guard who is stout defensively and is a great playmaker and finisher at the rim. He has a burgeoning midrange shot, though his prowess from beyond the arc leaves something to be desired. Derrick White is a solid enough shooter, and he possesses some underrated scoring ability. There's no doubt that both players could help a playoff team, and perhaps we'll end up seeing one or both move on from the San Antonio Spurs.
