Seth Curry Does Not Want The Sixers To Trade Ben Simmons: "He's Still A Great Player..."

After suffering yet another early playoff exit, the Philadelphia 76ers remain in a state of flux as the free agency period draws closer.

They have already committed over $100 million to their star, Ben Simmons, but questions remain about whether or not he is the guy who can bring them over the top.

His shooting struggles have grown into a concerning lack of confidence, and he has been the subject of countless trade rumors.

But if you ask Sixers guard Seth Curry, he wants to run it back with Ben at the helm:

“I love playing with Ben… he’s still a great player, he obviously had a rough playoffs… I look forward to playing with him again,” Curry said.

He hasn't yet lost confidence that the Sixers can win a Championship with Simmons on the roster. And, to his credit, Ben is a 3x All-Star, 2x All-Defensive player, and career 15.9 points per game scorer.

But his inability to shoot from distance has really held the team back over the past few years, and the team has been unable to find a solution.

Whether Curry likes it or not, we can expect the Sixers to consider every possible way to improve, even if it means letting go of their star 2016 pick.
