NBA veteran only spent a single season in Los Angeles, and it had more than its fair share of ups and downs.

After playing his way into a consistent and prominent role in the rotation, Green fell apart in the playoffs, struggling to hit shots as his team was fighting for a Championship.

His shortcomings were put on full blast, and fans quickly piled on to throw hate and criticism his way. At one point, things got so bad that Green and his wife were receiving death threats from angry Laker's fanboys.

Still, the team was able to accomplish their goal in the end, finishing the 2020 season with their 17th title.

In the time that has passed, a lot has changed. Danny Green is no longer donning the Purple and Gold and the Lakers have assembled a completely new team than the one we saw win it all in 2020.

But, in spite of everything, Green decided to commemorate his 2020 run in Los Angeles with a very impressive tattoo.

Check out the piece, which features the Larry O'Brien trophy on his left arm.

Obviously, Green isn’t a single-time title winner. He won his first back in 2014 when he delivered a historic Finals performance to help the Spurs defeat a super-powered Heat team.

He also won one in 2019, during Kawhi Leonard’s single season with the franchise.

We’re not sure if Green has any ink commemorating those achievements, but it’s no surprise he decided to get one for his time as a Laker.

Donning the Purple and Gold is a truly special and remarkable experience for any player. Playing alongside LeBron James and capturing a  Championship while there no doubt only made it even better.

As for what’s next for Green, that much is still unclear. He recently re-signed with the Sixers, which will keep him with the franchise for a while longer. Amid drama and major doubt about their potential, it is anyone’s guess as to whether or not Mr. Green will get the chance to commemorate any more titles.
