At first, foldable phones were unthinkable but they eventually became reality. The same goes for the under-display camera system, which helps users achieve full view display. Although, both of these technologies need a lot of improvements but the beginning is all that is required to proceed towards evolution.
Understanding the renders in detail:
Huawei Mate Rollable appears to be a normal smartphone at first sight. But it has the ability to expand into tablet-like big screen size. Unlike the foldable, the rollable smartphone can increase or decrease the area of its display by rolling in and out.
The phone’s front design looks identical to any regular smartphone, yet it can expand to a large tablet at an instance. Unlike a foldable device, the Rollable phone can expand outwards by taking a limited space. Through this mechanism, a 6.5-inch panel can expand to an 11-inch screen.
The rollable device has front to back display along with a triple rear camera setup, which can also be utilized as a selfie camera as well. As a rollable phone, it has only one side, which contains power and volume adjustment keys.
As of now, Huawei hasn’t confirmed any news regarding the development of any such rollable phone but we’ll surely keep you posted if any appears. Until then, enjoy the video linked below.
