Kobe Bryant was one of the best scorers in NBA history, recording incredible performances during his career, breaking and setting records in his 20-year stint in the association.

KB24 was a different breed when it came to scoring. He recorded several 40-PT, 50-PT, and 60-PT games in the league, even outscoring big stars combined. Kobe mastered this art, having eye-popping games more often than not. Recently, SportsCenter shared a curious stat about his scoring numbers and how they compared to other legends.

Bryant has more 40-point games than LeBron James and Stephen Curry combined; more 50-point games than James, Kevin Durant, and Larry Bird combined, and more 60-point games than Michael Jordan and LeBron James combined.

During his 20-year honored career, the Black Mamba recorded 135 games with 40 points. Stephen Curry has 40 of those, while LeBron James has recorded 66.

Kobe had 25 games played with 50+ points. LeBron scored 50+ points in 12 matches while Kevin Durant did it in 6 games. Larry Bird only had 4 of those games.

The 5x NBA champion also posted 60-point games six times, more than Michael Jordan's 4 and LeBron James' 1.

There's nothing left to say about Kobe. The Los Angeles Lakers icon was a menace to defenders; he always tried to find a way to score, and these numbers are the prime sample of that.

Curiously, he didn't finish his career as the all-time point leader, but Bryant left a lot of great memories for fans. When you think nothing about him can surprise you anymore, we discover another incredible stat to remember how great Kobe Bryant was.
