There are a lot of players from the past that have had their careers cut short, or altered with untimely injuries. While injuries are a part of any sport, they are certainly the most unfortunate aspect of athletics.

LaMarcus Aldridge retired earlier this season due to a heart condition. However, it looks as if he may be trying to make a comeback to the NBA, as Adrian Wojnarowski has reported the former All-Star is "seriously considering a return"

The last team that LaMarcus Aldridge played for was the Brooklyn Nets, featuring the big three of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. It remains to be seen whether Aldridge decides to go to the Brooklyn Nets or another franchise, though if he does return to the NBA it would make sense for him to join a contender so he can win his first championship.

LaMarcus Aldridge put up 13.5 PPG and 4.5 RPG, while shooting 38.8% from beyond the arc. As a stretch big man, he can help space the floor for any superstar, and his interior defense will be valuable in the playoffs. If LaMarcus Aldridge is truly healthy, then he certainly deserves a spot in the NBA, and perhaps we will see him on a roster very soon.
