NBA Fans Debate After Evan Fournier Asks: "Would You Rather Have A Loud 27 (Step Backs, Dunks) Or A Quiet 40 (All Layups And FT)?"
Every now and then, Evan Fournier engages in debates with fans, asking interesting questions and even trolling other players with his tweets. The Frenchman recently presented two imaginary scenarios for fans trying to see what night they prefer on the court.
The new New York Knicks member took to Twitter to ask fans what they would rather do: record a flashy 27-point game or a quiet 40-piece. In either case, you'll get the win. But, he didn't clarify that at the beginning.
That said, fans started debating, making valid points on why they'll go for one or the other.
Knowing that either performance would give you the victory, this will be a personal choice depending on who you ask. Some fans pointed out that Tim Duncan never made a lot of noise, and he was very effective, winning five NBA championships and becoming one of the all-time greats.
In contrast, you can have a night where you pump fans up with spectacular plays, inspire your teammates and still grab the W. This is indeed a subjective question. Either way, you're getting the victory. Fournier, for example, picked the quiet 40.
