Nerlens Noel made headlines this week and not precisely for the best reasons. The New York Knicks big man is suing former agent Rich Paul after he cost Noel over $58 million in losses in possible contracts.

A couple of years after Noel was coveted around the league, receiving good offers for his services, the player decided to sue the Klutch Sports Group founder. This situation raised a lot of eyebrows around the league, but the opinions are mixed right now.

While some sided with Noel, others are supporting Rich Paul. Former player-turned-analyst Kendrick Perkins belongs to the second group. He recently took to Twitter to call out Noel, labeling him a liar and urging him to come clean on this situation.

Nerlens Noel needs to tell the truth about the situation with Rich Paul and make Happy Walters take that key out his back! Carry on…

This comment didn't sit well with Noel, and the player responded to Perkins, sharing a recent Bleacher Report article on this situation. The piece details how teams like the Rockets, Clippers, and Sixers tried to offer an excellent contract to Noel, but they never heard back from his agent.

Still, this wasn't enough for KP, who told Noel he was playing himself.

After that, Nerlens called the 2008 champion a clown, finishing his interaction with the big man.

This situation doesn't benefit anybody. It's in the hands of justice to decide who did wrong in the case and the punishment they receive. Perkins, however, has no business there, and it's odd to see him taking sides in a situation he doesn't know. Then again, we're talking about Kendrick Perkins.
