Michael Jordan is one of the fiercest competitors in the world of sports. The Chicago Bulls legend proved that every night, playing as many games and minutes as possible, always trying to win and put up a show for all the fans who went to the arenas to see him.

Jordan had curious tactics to keep his competitiveness going, even making up stories to take things personally and demolish rivals when they clashed on the court. Whatever he tried to do, he put his everything on it, although things were harder after he retired from basketball for good in 2003.

His Airness is 58 years old now, and he keeps finding new activities to compete. We've seen him fishing on his boat, but Jordan's favorite sport right now is golf.

He was recently spotted talking with Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry at the Ryder Cup, sparking a lot of speculation on what they talked about. Curry worked for NBC at the tournament and had the chance to talk with the GOAT. However, they mostly talked about golf, which is odd knowing that they're two of the greatest basketball players of all time.

Curry asked Jordan about his love for golf, saying that more NBA players start playing it every year, creating a bond with those who share the passion. MJ explained that golf is really important for him, who is a very competitive person.

"I kind of got into golf mainly because from a competitive standpoint, to me, it is the hardest game to play. I can always respond to an opponent, a defensive guy, offensive guy, but in golf, it's like playing in a mirror and you're battling yourself consistently to try to get perfection every swing, every putt. For a competitive person like me, this is what keeps me sane. Because when I walked away from the game of basketball, that was enough to keep my competitive juices working."

It must have been hard for MJ to keep competing after he retired from the beautiful game. Fortunately, his passion for golf never went away, and to this day, he keeps playing.

Curiously, these two could face each other on the course if they get invited to 'The Match,' a game where Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods pair with other stars to win a charity match.
