The Los Angeles Lakers have assembled an incredible roster for the 2021/22 NBA season. After they landed Russell Westbrook via trade, the purple and gold made sure to surround their Big 3 of Westbrook, LeBron James and Anthony Davis with the best pieces available.

One of their latest acquisitions was Rajon Rondo, who acted as a double agent for the purple and gold after leaving the team following the 2020 NBA championship they won in the Orlando bubble. Rondo joined the Atlanta Hawks before getting traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, creating issues during the 2021 playoff.

Now, he's ready to run it back with the Lakers after that magical 2020 campaign. Rondo is one of the best passers the league has seen in the past two decades, but he's also joining two other players who can dish assists like candy.

Russell Westbrook and LeBron James are great facilitators, just like Rajon, making the Lakers a candidate to become the most generous team in the league.

The team's official Twitter account shared a pic to remind fans that their trio has won seven of the last 10 NBA assists championships.

Rondo won it three times in the past decade, 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2015/16. Russell Westbrook has did the same in 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2020/21. Meanwhile, LeBron James did it in 2019/20.

A lot of people believe that having Westbrook and LeBron on the same team is a bad fit. Most of the time, they need to have the ball in their hands, but they already vowed to sacrifice for the team's sake

Besides, if you have three players this unselfish, it's safe to think that the Lakers will be fine this upcoming season.

Still, this is pure speculation. But, the Lakers can have a lot of fun if, at least two of these three, spend some time together on the court. The Lakers are considered title favorites this season, and this fact makes their case stronger.
