WhatsApp adding beta label to confirm existing version
WhatsApp planned a bunch of major features that are currently under development and will roll out soon. Users are eagerly waiting for a new layout for contact card, group info, privacy customization, and more. In the meantime, the team has brought a minor improvement feature that’ll help users to clear their confusion over beta and stable updates.
According to a report of WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has recently sent Android 2.21.20.12. version update that’ll install the beta label for the users. It’ll let you known the WhatsApp version and its stability. Below you can check the preview.

How to Check:
- Open your WhatsApp Account
- Head to WhatsApp Settings section
- Now select the last option- Help
- Again tap on the last option- App info
From here you can check your current version and if it’s beta or stable. Indeed, it’s a minor change but now you won’t get confused about the WhatsApp version status.
Availability:
This feature is rollout for every Android user on 2.21.20.12. version. Still, if you are unable to spot it try to restart your device or can wait for a while. However, the iOS users already received this feature about a month ago.
Previous Update:
WhatsApp bringing new privacy options for iOS and Android users. The new feature named- “My Contact Except”, will let you hide your activities such as Profile Photo, Last Seen, and Bio from some individual contacts.
