The Phoenix Suns are on an incredible 16-game winning streak, and that is credited to the brilliance of Chris Paul and Devin Booker in clutch situations. But there is a major test looming, as they would have to face the league's best defensive team right now, Golden State Warriors.

While their run could be linked to the elite-level players on the team, it is a combined effort as the team has built chemistry in the time they have spent together.

According to ESPN's senior writer Brian Windhorst, Booker, Chris Paul, and head coach Monty Williams spoke on how they have evolved and now have a better understanding of each other.

"I just try to stay out of their way and simplify it for the other guys around them; I feel like that's more my job than trying to choreograph everything for those guys," Williams said. "They have been clutch players all their lives."

Booker believes experience has been the best teacher for the team.

"Over the last year, we've learned a lot about each other. Obviously, experience is the best teacher."

According to Paul, accountability has been the key to their dominating performance thus far.

"We've got a great group, a great locker room. I've never seen anything like it. It's about accountability. If you're not doing the right stuff, you're going to stick out. Coach calls it a pinky showing up at a thumb convention."

Williams also echoes Paul's take on accountability, pointing out how the players are a lot more attuned with themselves.

"The accountability in the locker room is at a high level. Last year, somebody might say something to someone, and they may take it personally. This year, we don't have a lot of that at all."

The Suns fell to the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2021 NBA Finals and are desperate to prove to the NBA community that they are not one-hit wonders. Coming into the 2021-22 season, the Suns have not been seen as championship contenders, and up to this point, many believe they will not make it far despite their outstanding run. But Suns 3 and D wing Mikal Bridges does not care what the NBA community thinks.

The Warriors-Suns matchup will be a fun watch, as both teams are in top forms. Extending their streak to 17 will be an arduous task given how good the Warriors are defensively. On the other hand, there is not much any team can do to stop Stephen Curry from knocking down his shots.
