LaVar Ball Wants To Create A Superteam With His Sons In Chicago Bulls: “By Themselves, They Are Good. But Together, They’re Great.”

LaVar Ball is a proud father and has often spoken highly of his boys and how they will dominate the NBA. As things stand, only LiAngelo is yet to make his NBA debut as he is still grinding it out in the G-League.

On a showcase of the Big Baller Brand in Chicago, LaVar made another interesting comment that could spark a lot of controversy in the league. He has previously spoken about building a big 3 with his boys on the Los Angeles Lakers but has shifted his focus to the Chicago Bulls.

With the showcase underway, one of the first things he said was:

“Now I say my boys are going to be the first billionaires to play basketball,” Ball said. ”Individuals, we’re all millionaires. But as a family, we’ll be billionaires.”

“That’s what makes me do what I do. I’m going to show folks: When any Black family sticks together, it’s going to grow far.”

According to Block Club Chicago, LaVar is interested in creating a superteam with his sons in Chicago.

"Ball is trying to bring that family connectivity to the Bulls. He said he met with the team’s executive vice president of basketball operations and lobbied him to 'get all three of' his sons: Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo."

LaVar said:

“By themselves, they are good. But together, they’re great.”

With LaVar, you are sure to always get an earful, but he is very close to making sure all his sons play in the NBA, a statement he made a long time ago.

Lonzo is having an incredible season with the Bulls, averaging 12.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. His three-point shooting has been the most effective, as he is averaging a career-high 43.2 points on 7.0 attempts.

Since the days of Magic Johnson, LaMelo's performance is the closest thing we have seen to showtime basketball. The 2021 Rookie of the Year has been a dime-dropping delight for the Charlotte Hornets so far this season. He is averaging 19.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 8.0 assists in 22 games.
