Russell Westbrook had a bad game on Thursday night, costing the Los Angeles Lakers the win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The veteran point guard made serious mistakes against his former team, ruining the Lakers' chances to win the match.

With LeBron James out of action, Westbrook has stepped up for the Lakers, trying to lead them to the win alongside Anthony Davis. Brodie couldn't do the job on Thursday, earning a lot of criticism from his displays.

After he missed a clutch shot at the end of the game, fans weren't happy with Russ. The Thunder won their second game of the season, both against the Lakers, which didn't please anybody.

Following the match, Russ shared an encouraging post on Instagram. However, instead of making amends with fans, this sparked a lot of bad comments. While some people praised Russ for his message, others decided to attack him and call him out for losing the Thunder game.

What started as a great addition to the Lakers has become a source of concern for the team. Westbrook is still struggling to find his touch with the purple and gold, but things don't look very promising for them right now.

Talking with reporters, Brodie admitted he made crucial mistakes, showing his disappointment with the development of the match.

The Lakers need to figure things out before it's too late. The 17-time NBA champions are trying to return to the top after a disappointing 2020/21 season. Having Brodie onboard looked like a great idea, but so far, the player hasn't lived up to the expectations.

Fans hope to see LeBron James returning sooner than later to the court and fix the issues the Lakers are having right now. They aren't playing like the championship contender people think they are and that could become a big issue for them in the next months.
