Tyler Herro is doing great things in this 2021/22 NBA season, confirming what he predicted in the offseason. The young shooting guard is ballin', leading the NBA in bench points per game, even setting the record for the most points scored off the bench within the first seven matches of a season.

Herro is really trying to prove himself this campaign and he won't stop until people give him his recognition. The Miami Heat are an excellent team, one of the leaders of the Eastern Conference and Tyler has been very important in their early success.

Yet, nobody on the team is satisfied and the young sharpshooter has big goals for this season. Talking about his expectations for this season, Tyler admitted he's looking to win silverware with his team while exceeding on the court.

“I just want to win a championship,” Herro told the Miami Herald. “Obviously, Sixth Man of the Year, for sure. Most Improved. I feel like I can compete for those two, for sure.”

So far, he's doing a great job, becoming the leader of the Heat's second unit. Although playing against backups has earned some criticism, Herro is confident he's doing a good job, which will help him win one of these awards.

The Heat reached the NBA Finals in the 2020 Orlando bubble, where Tyler exceeded. After last season, people doubted him and said he was just a fluke. He's on a mission now, trying to prove the doubters wrong while helping Miami reach important stages again.

They look like a dangerous team in the stacked Eastern Conference, and this man is keen to get an individual or collective trophy. The Heat have the players, the mentality and the experience of an NBA Finals, so the rest of the East should be careful with this squad.

Herro is averaging 20.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in 8 matches with the Heat.
